Lowe Syndrome Trust
The Lowe Syndrome Trust has played a vital part in the long-distance skateboarding journey.
Jack Smith crossed America 3 times - His last journey in 2003 was to raise awareness of this little known disease. His son, Jack Jnr. died of Lowe.
Taking up this mantle, Dave Cornthwaite chose LST as one of the three charities in his world record skate across Australia.
SkateNewZealand continues where these journeys left off.
CanTeen NZ
CanTeen is the New Zealand Organisation Supporting Young People Living With Cancer and was established to ensure that no young person in New Zealand living with cancer should ever have to feel alone.
A cancer charity was always going to be part of SkateNewZealand. We have seen first hand the impact cancer has upon people and their families and are proud to support this worthwhile cause.
